Hexa Client on Linux

AppImage for any distribution, .deb for Ubuntu and Debian, .rpm for Fedora. Arch included.

Hexa Client runs on 64-bit Linux: Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, Debian, Fedora, Arch, Manjaro, openSUSE and others. Download it from the Download section of hexaroid.com.

  1. Ubuntu, Debian, Mint: open the .deb with your software center.
  2. Fedora, openSUSE: open the .rpm with your software center.
  3. Arch, Manjaro and any other distribution: use the AppImage. Make it executable (right-click → Properties → Allow executing, or chmod +x in a terminal) and open it.

The AppImage updates itself. With the .deb or .rpm, download new versions from hexaroid.com.

The AppImage needs FUSE 2. On Arch: sudo pacman -S fuse2. Without it, start it with --appimage-extract-and-run.

Clips use the GStreamer of your system. On Arch: sudo pacman -S gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-ugly gst-libav. On Ubuntu and Debian: sudo apt install gstreamer1.0-plugins-good gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly gstreamer1.0-libav.

On Wayland the launcher and the game run through XWayland, so the Clips REC sign can show over the game. Java and Minecraft are downloaded by the launcher; nothing else to install.
